About Memphis
Memphis Ayoade is a public speaker, strategic advisor and social action entrepreneur operating at the intersection of lived experience, strategy and delivery.
Trusted by organisations across government, education, employment, youth development and social impact, Memphis brings calm authority, clarity and depth to every engagement. He has worked with over 100 organisations across the public and private sectors, delivering keynote talks and workshops to audiences of 300+ people while advising senior leaders on youth engagement, violence reduction and pathways to opportunity.
Memphis serves as a core youth advisory member for the Mayor of London Violence Reduction Unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and the Mayor of London to reduce violence across the city. He contributes authentic youth perspectives, proposes practical solutions and helps shape policy. His work includes co-developing strategic priorities focused on inclusive education, tackling online harms, trauma informed, expanding employment and further education pathways, and amplifying the voices of young women and girls. He has also acted as a critical friend to the British Transport Police, advising on public safety, youth engagement and community trust.
Internationally, Memphis advises Google through Canvas8 as part of its Global Youth Advisor Program, contributing insight that supports Google in designing and improving products and services through meaningful youth consultation.
Memphis has delivered talks and engagements at leading institutions and national platforms including the British Library, Norton Rose Fulbright, The House of Commons, British Transport Police, The Department for Education, University College London (UCL), London South Bank University, Queen Mary University of London, The Mayor of London’s Office, City Hall along with many more along.
In 2025, Memphis was invited to the House of Commons to receive a Youth Achievement Award from the Universal Peace Federation, recognising his outstanding youth leadership and community service. He was one of thirty young leaders honoured nationwide. He was named a Black British Pioneer in 2023 for Black History Month, recognised as a dynamic young leader blending entrepreneurship, authorship and impactful public speaking. That same year, he was nominated for Thought Leader of the Year for shaping industry discussions, offering unique perspectives and driving meaningful change.
Memphis journey began at 17 when he published his first book, which has since sold internationally across the UK, USA, India and Australia. He began working with local charities and community interest companies before progressing to advise large organisations and institutions at national and global levels.
Today, Memphis continues to advise leadership teams, influence policy discussions and speak on stages where strategy, opportunity and lived experience meet, committed to creating meaningful, lasting impact.
